No Northern Light!

With the recent solar flares, very nice northern lights are expected to hit from the 17 to the 18 (yesterday and today). Actually, probably the biggest in 5 years. Unfortunately, the sky is thick with clouds (and rain).

So here is a picture from last year. The purple is not related to northern lights, only the light pollution the HDR picked up, and the white balance correction brought it back to a nice color.
I'm learning and want to improve. Don't hesitate to post constructive criticism!

No Northern Light!

  1. If they never used a movie camera, they will also need a darkish room, movie, 3D printer, and the experience to process that movie. Seems like fairly Slippers a project in case you are not conversant in processing movie photos, or utilizing a 3D printer.
